"Aluminum mast 2020, use a 3mm top plate shim (the 3mm at the back of your top plate).
Aluminum mast 2021 , no need for a top plate shim, we have not only an angle on the wings but also added some angle between fuselage and mast.
Carbon mast 2020, use a 3mm top plate shim.
It is the same Carbon mast in 2021."
Thats what they emailed me...IMHO this is just a guideline, if your board has different rocker at the mast plate, or you are paddling/towing into super fast waves or whatever then you will have to test and fine tune.
Also remember that Takuma puts the front wing further ahead of the mast than most brands.This may complicate things with Naish boards for example (Naish foils have the front wing very close to mast) because the Naish boxes may not go back far enough.
